Join Anton as he demonstrates and guides you through the unique experience of Plein Air painting.
We will start in the Mita Studio for a presentation, and then pull the easels outside to paint under the back patio cover with Anton. Class includes presentation and individual instruction.

All 2D mediums are welcome. Anton will demonstrate in oils.
Supply List: To be updated prior to class
Paints: Ivory black, Cad Yellow Light, Cad yellow hue, Cad red light, Magenta, Sap Green, Viridian, Cerulean blue hue, French ultramarine, Titanium white
Brushes: Brayer: RGM large painting spatulas, Blick palette knife set (Traditional 6 knife set), or similar. Black hard rubber roller (brayer), Variety of small, medium and large brushes. 3" wide brush, House painting brush works great. Optional: Robert Simmons Signet- sizes vary. Anton uses flats in the sizes 8 to 12. Palette knives and 3" to 6" size.
Canvases:
4 to 6 Canvas or linen panels 16"x20" or larger. Or Blick acrylic Primed Cotton canvas (stretched or roll) 16"x20" or larger. At least 6. We will also use 6"x6" canvas panels, at least 10, or use 1 as a template on a larger canvas.
Solvents: Weber odorless turpenoid, Gamblin Gamisol Odorless mineral spirits.
