
ARTWALK GUIDELINES
All artists must meet the following standards to participate in and receive “The Artisans League Sponsorship” for the community Art Walks.
1. Active Member
All participants in the show must be members of The Artisans League, with current dues having been paid.
2. Original Creations
- All items in the show shall be original creations both conceived and created by the artist alone.
- If offering an art form using an existing retail item, the original retail item must be embellished or enhanced with original work in such a manner to render it uniquely different from its original form.
- Participants may not display other artist’s work, any collaborated work, nor promote or sponsor anyone else.
3. At-Home Signage and Display
- If you are displaying at home, you must display an official "Artist Home Sign" in front of your home.
- At-home displays should represent the art in the best way the artist sees fit.
- Participating artists may present their works at other participating artist locations.
4. MITA Club Display
- BlueStar has assigned the Mita Club as the permanent Art Walk location.
- Spaces are limited.
- Artists in the breezeway should be prepared for outdoor elements. All spaces are covered but are subject to wind.
5. Consequences of breaking the Rules
- If someone breaks the rules and there is a photo-documented complaint, the offense may carry a penalty of suspension from the ArtWalk for up to 1 year.
- The Art Walk is based on an honor system. If you have a complaint, please document the offense and submit it to: members.services@theartisansleague.com. The complaint will be reviewed by the Art Walk Committee and the Board.
THE ART WALK PROCESS
1. Call to Artists
- Approximately 6 weeks before each show, The Artisan League will send out a Call to Artists email to current members.
- The Open Call will be closed 3 weeks before the show.
- All dues need to be paid for consideration.
- Updates will be sent via email to registered artists on an as-needed basis.

- $25.00 if you have already the standard brand Artist Home Sign, or
- $60.00 which includes the $25.00 registration and the $35.00 cost for the sign if you do not have one already.
