I have a passion for anything that I have a genuine interest in pursuing. I have taught for the last 50 years, starting with

teaching my stuffed animals as a child, to teaching group fitness, personal training and any other fitness class you can think of. I started in college and continued for 30 years. I’ve loved every minute of teaching Mahjong to over 150 Trilogy residents including women, men, couples and even Grandchildren.

My latest passion, after having spent time beading and jewelry making, is dotting or “pointillism”. I find it relaxing through focus.

It can be as detailed or simple as you choose. Before I learned (self-taught) to dot, I knew I was creative, but I always believed I was not a “real” artist because I had no ability to draw. Discovering dotting has been wonderful!! I can

dot with paint and now call myself an artist with confidence. I’m so excited to teach others what I have learned.

As a teacher, I believe in the KISS (keep it simple, stupid) method and teach with the knowledge that we all learn differently and that all of our brains work in unique and wonderful ways. I believe that being creative is an ability that ALL of

us have. Often, many of us think that we are not creative, but in fact, all we need is a safe space to learn that WE ACTUALLY DO HAVE A CREATIVE SPACE IN OUR BRAINS!

I believe that if we have a great teacher, we can learn anything through their passion and ability to teach. Anyone who is willing can learn. I love teaching, and from what I’m told, I’m really good at it. I love sharing the passion I have for

things I love and look forward to sharing it with you.
